Bottle Tree

The bottles are suspended with fine stainless safety wire. The open bottle ends allow great ‘haint moans’ when the wind blows. The top has a green florist’s vase which fit perfectly, and there’s a cobalt glass Noxema jar found in the woods. Some of the green ale bottles were found on the side of the road. The trunk is a cedar limb set in the ground.

Hi! I was looking into making a blue bottle tree, or any color for that matter and I found you by way of Tina, in the garden.
I love this idea, but do I have to live in the South to do a bottle tree? I have gotten some crazy questions about the blue bottles I have in my garden.

Wonderful bottle tree with my two favorite colors. Is it okay if I post a link to it on my blog?

I love your bottle tree too. I have been working on one……I kinda like it, but cant decide if it should stay or go. I did it on a dead camillia.
