Sedum Acre

Sedum Acre

It will grow in a depression in a rock, if there is enough moisture. It died out in places during the past two years’ drought, but enough persisted to keep going. This potful was totally neglected. It persisted through a cold winter.

Some consider it a weedy nuisance. I think it is beautiful. I recently bought another low sedum — Dragon’s Blood — a darker color with rounded leaves.

I love sedums. I have some that’s been growing on top of a huge rock for many years. It always fascinates visitors.

Wow, that looks wonderful. You must have been kidding when you said it’s a weed, didn’t you? 😉
