    They do look like tulips. Smell good, too, kind of like watermelon.I can’t imagine trying to heat it, either, Rose. We do have heating bills. It was 27 degrees here this morning. You can hardly see the For Sale sign in front of this house. I don’t know much about its history, but I remember when it was painted white, had a green roof and belonged to Mr. and Mrs. Floyd. this section of town has some lovely ancient houses, I’ll take more photos another day. Azaleas the size of a bus will be blooming in another month.

    Lovely pictures. Gorgeous house. I couldn’t imagine having to heat it but I imagine also that you don’t have that much call for heat way down south?

    Is the Saucer Magnolia what we call a Tulip Tree?Alas, they love acidic soil.That is a gorgeous house!
